Located next to the National Park of Garajonay, in the hearto of La Gomera.
Next to the Garajonay National Park, is the Caserío de Las Hayas, a small village of no more than 50 houses, where most of the buildings keep a traditional architecture of the island,
consisting of one-story houses, with stone exteriors and roof, next to their orchards and land for cultivation and grazing.
Las Hayas belongs to Valle Gran Rey, the most touristic municipality of the island of La Gomera.
Precisely this is one of the elements that make Las Hayas enjoy the charm of tourists, who can enjoy the magic of staying next to the Garajonay National Park, a forest of the Tertiary Era, know their ancient cultures, and in turn be 15 minutes from the tourist center of the island (Valle Gran Rey), 25 minutes from the port (the capital of the island, San Sebastian de La Gomera) and 20 minutes from the airport.

Amparo Las Hayas distinguishes itself from other restaurants because we are committed to a style of cuisine that offers natural products of the land, with the recipes of yesteryear and in a rural atmosphere as much as possible. The watercress stew of La Gomera, the goat meat with
wrinkled potatoes or "ñames", the wine of our harvest, the cheeses made by us, the palm honey... It is a restaurant that in turn is nourished by agricultural products harvested by the neighbors (potatoes, watercress, millet, beans, peppers, garlic, vegetables, wine) and their livestock (eggs, goat meat, pork, milk, cheeses...). We are proud to have a menu in which all our dishes are made with natural products that come mostly from Las Hayas.
